Уважаемый Technical Support, я установила себе IDC 5614BXL/VR+, посоветуйте пожалуйста как нужно его настроить на максимальную производительность на моей телефонной линии. АТС, с которой работает модем - цифровая.

Нам нужно посмотреть статистику модема. Удобнее всего собрать статистику с помощью программы IDC Diagnostics. Сеанс связи должен длиться не менее 5 минут, и желательно при этом "нагрузить" модем приёмом данных (скачайте какой-нибудь архив).

Это, статистика второго провайдера (НИЖЕГОРОДСКИЙ ГОСУНИВЕРСИТЕТ ИМ. ЛОБОЧЕВСКОГО), у них максимальная скорость 33.6, и насколько я знаю, модемные пулы созданы на основе оборудования INPRO.

С первой статистикой всё в порядке. Небольшие улучшения возможны, попробуйте такую строку инициализации:

S91=18 S210.7=1 S55.4=1 S202.3=1 S17=52

Это должно повысить скорость начального соединения и улучшить стабильность работы.

А вот со второй статистикой проблема: отстутствует протокол коррекции ошибок. Мы подозреваем. что Вы сами отключили протокол коррекции (проверьте установки в свойствах соединения). В остальном статистика отличная.

Уважаемый Technical Support, недавно установила на пробу 30-тидневную версию Mcrosoft Windows Vista Ultimate Edition, при установке драйвера модема, система отказалась принимать родной драйвер, пришлось установить драйвер "Стандартный Модем 56000 bps". С ним связь не устойчива, часто рвёт соединение. Что мне в этом случае делать? Будет ли написан драйвер под Vist'у?

Работа модема не зависит от драйвера. Модем аппаратный, и драйвер представляет собой неисполняемый текстовый файл, объясняющий системе, на каком языке общаться с модемом, какие команды ему посылать для выполнения тех или иных действий (например, набрать номер и соединиться с провайдером) и как интерпретировать ответы модема на эти команды.

Драйвер "стандартного модема" умеет работать с Вашим IDC. Однако, в драйвере стандартного модема отсутствуют некоторые функции, специфические для конкретных модемов (например, управление коррекцией ошибок и сжатием данных). Отсутствует также понимание ответов о скорости соединения, поэтому при работе со стандартным драйвером всегда показывается скорость порта (например, 115200 бит/с).

А в остальном, прекрасная маркиза...

Поэтому, если у Вас происходят разрывы соединения, и этого не было со старым драйвером, то причину нужно искать в строке инициализации. Очевидно, в настройках Вы указали некоторую строку, которая и позволяет модему жить стабильно.

Что касается драйвера под Vista, то он, безусловно, появится. Однако, не стОит ждать чуда. Если соединение разрывается, то дело не в драйвере, а в настройках. Вот с ними и нужно разобраться.

Я проверил под Windows Vista Eterprise работу драйвера из подпапки \Windows.x64 вот этого архива. Драйвер сразу установился без проблем (если не считать предупреждения об отсутствии возможности проверить цифровую подпись) и заработал.

И почему он пишет "Firmware Revision: V2.25", я ему недавно поставил прошивку 2.26.

С версией прошивки разобрался, большое спасибо! Комп заземлен на батарею, но если вы имеете ввиду помеху 120гц то это судя по всему со станции. Я цеплял модем к ноутбуку работающему на аккум., землю отцеплял и прицеплял, 120гц все равно есть.
